The Social Service Ministry was created under the leadership of Father Max Ozias, our parish administrator, to support our parishioners in their daily struggle. At the Social Service Ministry, our goal is to provide ongoing support to the parishioners of our church that allows families and individuals to become self-sufficient and being physically, mentally and spiritually capable of dealing with life events on a daily basis.

Our unique and growing ministry, Social Service Ministry involves volunteers who graciously give of their time and talent to help our parishioners. Those who are the unforgotten, many with housing, medical, legal issues and many families in need of just someone to talk to.

To accompablish this goal we have ongoing activities with the Board of Social Services (Food Stamp and Health Insurance).  We helped our Haitian brothers and sisters with TPS application; we offer counseling sessions for a variety of issues (grief, teenage delinquency, domestic violence and more).  We worked with local organizations to provide interested parties with immigration services.
